Journal #23 Self Curation.
- After re-reading the literacy narrative, and self curation. I have concluded that going back to my literacy narrative if I had the online networks that I have today the bullies and just anonymous people would have ripped me apart. Social media and self-curation has made America what it is today everyone can sit behind a screen and say whatever they want, and on the flip side people worry so much more what happens to them. People have never worried so much about appearance since everyone can see everyones business at any given time.
- I think my site would portray me to be an academic. The stuff on this site is fact based and comes with sources plus the work is always professional. This is the impression I would like to have portray me because I strive to be in the academic discourse. In the future I would like to portray myself as professional, and that is because the career I will be choosing is a completely professional environment. Thus I would like people to approve of my social and other websites.
