Journal #2 Part A: The ultimate question in this radio segment was all about could someone not have a selfish instinct. They dissected a book talking first about this guys life and how brilliant of a scientist he was and how he became obsessed with finding out just that. Can humans resist being selfish. Survival of the fittest is basically hardwired into every humans mind. This basically means that you will do what you can for people until it starts to effect you because no one wants to see someone doing better then themselves. they turn to the author of the stories children who try and shed some light on what there father was doing. The father was so obsessed with finding the answer to his research.

- If you were to look at your own narrative from the view of the teacher or just someone else in the story do you think it would be told the same way?
- Why do you look at this situation the way you do?
- Is there anything you could have done to improve your situation?
- Do you think you personally grew from this experience?
- How did you grow/ how did it effect you?
- Do you still keep in touch with the so called “mentor”
- Is there anyone to blame for this or could you be the one to blame?
- How did this shape you as a person or did it effect you at all?
- At any point did you feel like giving up?
- Why write about this one experience? why not a different one?
