Kara Poe Alexander defines Master Narrative as “an overarching story people
tell themselves about their experiences in relation to the culture, literature, or
history of a society” if i had to paraphrase what alexander was saying I would say it is problematic because multiple people write stories like our literacy narratives that I basically had myself convinced that I was actually such a hero in my story but really I was just being lazy.

Little narrative – Alexander talks about little narratives as something that women or minorities tell that is countering the master narratives almost like the master narratives tell the big picture and little narratives tell the back story of what actually happened. The second example is that people use little narratives to define the local or little parts of a life rather then the broad mastery narratives.
