- Putting someones direct quotes into your paper can greatly influence and give a high credibility to you paper which people will also give attention to because they can see and author or a professor or anyone with higher credibility then us the student is being brought into play. The part of that is the ” look im not just making this stuff up” is way the readers like to see. Also this will be helpful in this paper because you are trying to have to authors have a conversation and how can they have a conversation without direct quotes. Making sure to quote enough in this paper will be the hardest part it is always hard to know when to quote and how much
- The two different steps in this passage will definitely be helpful while writing this paper. (1) choosing quotations wisely (2). framing statements around the quotes. These both will be useful in writing and implementing different quotes into this paper. Knowing how to introduce and explain quotes is a vital part of writing the paper and having a successful argument. This means you have to connect whatever they say to whatever you say. This is the only way to make a successful and intelligent argument.
- “don’t be a hit and run quoter” This means that you should never bring a quote into the paper if you don’t explain its relevance plus what does it even mean. In this paper in specific because it is the first one for this class plus it is our second semester of english these skills should be fairly basic. framing and explaining quotes is what this paper will thrive on after all you will be implementing conversation between authors in this essay and you can’t do that without direct quotation.
