The readers of Carrs paper are reluctant to believe what Carr is writing because no one wants to believe that technology is taking over. No one wants t0 believe that something the internet is smarter then us even though people created it. The internet has made the human race a lazy race. The part that gives people anxiety to me is what else could go wrong? What else could happen from the internet it already changes how people read how people think. What could be next? The belief that people are holding onto is that they are independent and that they can actually do things without technology. I know personally it scares me how me and everyone is addicted to there phones.
