Passages you understand and why.

There is a passage that talks about how people love an animal why can’t they love the web. I can understand how people come to love the internet because it is a useful tool to use if you are trying to search or get information quick. The internet can be a useful tool or it can be dangerous because you can get lost.

Passages that you challenge and why.

On the last page the second paragraph Kelley talks about how will humans give up there humanity for the love of technology. I challenge this because the majority of people on earth are going to be older not as old to hate all technology but old enough where they grew up with no technology so they feel no need to fall head over heels for technology. At least myself I know that I could not love a piece of equipment or technology. Humans at least me don’t want to fall in love with just a tangible object.

Passages where you ask a question.

On the page with the huge pair of scissors on it on the bottom of the page. I ask a question ” should we be afraid of technology?” I ask this question because after reading this passage and talking about how people really think that robots have emotions and how people basically fall in love with technology. This is terrifying because technology doesn’t have feelings and won’t care about us, and its terrifying because there is nothing we can do to stop the creation of these machines.

Passages where you draw a relationship to your life or Carr’s text.  Explain this relationship.

there was a passage I agree with and that is the passage that as the world evolves so does technology the technology we use today is the same as back in the day but life is just more complicated now so with life being more complicated so is the technology that we can use. Life has been getting harder but with the technology around us it gets easier.
