Do’s :

• Engage with your tutee while they are there seem interested
• try and get them to engage with the text so you are not just doing all the work
• be friendly to the student

Don’ts

• Get angry if the student isn’t as involved as you are.
• Do all of the students work for them they won’t ever learn if you do that.
• Pressure students even if you think they are not going to meet a deadline. They are just as worried as you.
