Journal #19: “And Yet” They say/I say
- An important point I found was the transitioning statements in mantsios article. It was difficult to read but with the transitioning statements like “yet” it became easier to read.
- First person statements even tho previously people have told me not to put it into academic writing it is nearly impossible to switch from someones view to your own without putting an “I” or another first person word.
- Embedding references in writing to pull you back to an earlier part of the essay is also another way a writer could show change in view points.
